Fractional AI strategist
Your company needs an AI lead. Not another AI tool.
Everybody on your team has tried AI. Nobody owns it. So you get ten people with ten different chatbots, no plan, and nothing that actually saves the business time. I become that owner. Part time, for a monthly fee, and hands on from week one.
From 10 person teams to multi department companies. Remote and on site across the US and Canada.
01 · The problem
AI did not fail.
Nobody was in charge of it.
Most companies are not behind on AI because the tools are bad. They are behind because AI landed on everyone's desk and became nobody's job. You do not need a $150K hire to fix that. You need one person who owns it.
Where AI belongs, and where it does not
A plain English map of your business ranked by hours saved. The three things worth doing first, and the shiny stuff to ignore.
The right tools, set up properly
Which plan, which seats, which settings. Projects, Skills and connectors configured so AI knows your business instead of starting from zero every chat.
Your people trained on their real work
Not a webinar. Live sessions where each person builds something on their actual job and keeps using it after I log off.
The first workflows, shipped
Reporting, follow ups, proposals, document review. Whatever eats the most hours, built and running inside the first 90 days.
Simple guardrails
What goes into AI and what never does. A one page policy your team will actually read, worked out with your IT provider.
A monthly scoreboard
What got built, who is using it, what it saved, what is next. You always know whether this is paying for itself.
02 · The first 90 days
Plan, build,
hand it over.
Map and set up
Roadmap call, interviews with the people doing the work, the stack set up properly and the first team session.
Build the wins
The two or three workflows that save the most time, built with the people who will use them.
Make it stick
An internal champion trained to keep it going, the guardrails written down, and the next quarter planned.
Your call
Keep me on to keep shipping, or graduate. 3 month minimum, then month to month.
03 · Straight comparison
Three ways to
get an AI lead.
| Full time hire | Big consultancy | Fractional (me) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | Six figure salary plus benefits | Project fees, often five or six figures | From $3,500/mo, 3 month minimum, then month to month |
| Time to start | Months of hiring | Weeks of scoping | This week |
| Builds things | Depends on the hire | Usually a deck and a handoff | Yes, with your team, every month |
| Trains your people | Maybe | Extra line item | Included, live, on real work |
| Risk | Hard to undo a bad hire | Locked into a scope | Cancel any month. Guarantee on everything |
04 · Pricing
Published, so you can
budget without a call.
One focused session. We map where AI fits in your business and what to do first. Credited to your first month if you keep going.
Your company's AI strategist on a monthly retainer. Roadmap, stack, team training and workflow builds. The base covers one team and a steady build pace. More departments, more builds or more of my time moves it up.
Prices in USD. Bigger rollouts across several departments are quoted on the roadmap call, so you see the number before you commit. Need a full team training day on top? See team training pricing.

07 · Questions
Before you hire
an AI strategist.
What is a fractional AI strategist?
A part time AI lead for your company. Instead of hiring a full time head of AI, you get one experienced person who owns the plan for where AI fits, picks the tools, trains your team and gets the first workflows running, for a monthly fee.
How much does a fractional AI strategist cost?
It starts at $3,500 USD a month. From there it scales with the workload: how many teams I am training, how many workflows we are building and how hands on you need me. Larger companies running AI across several departments land well above the base. Most start with a $350 roadmap call, credited to the first month.
How is this different from hiring an AI consultant?
A consultant hands you a deck and leaves. A fractional strategist stays, owns the outcome and is accountable every month for whether your team is actually using it. I also build alongside your people instead of only advising.
Is this the same as a fractional Chief AI Officer?
Close. A fractional CAIO usually sits at enterprise level on governance and vendors. What I do works for a 10 person team or a company with several departments, anywhere someone needs to set direction and also get hands on.
Do you replace our IT provider or developers?
No. I work with them. Your IT provider or MSP keeps the security and infrastructure. I own what the business actually does with AI and make sure it fits inside the rules they set.
How long do companies keep a fractional AI strategist?
A 3 month minimum, then month to month. The first 90 days are where the biggest change happens. Some companies stay on to keep shipping new workflows, others graduate once they have an internal champion running it.
Which AI tools do you work with?
I start most business teams on Claude, and I hold 14 Anthropic certifications. 85+ AI companies have paid me to explain their tools, so if you are on ChatGPT, Copilot or Gemini, I work on your stack.
What is the guarantee?
Same as everything I run. If your team does not walk away with something real, you do not pay.
