Everything from today's session: the funnel, the prompts, the skills you now own, and what to do Monday. Built for MSP owners who are done watching AI videos and ready to point it at revenue.
Projects hold context. Skills hold procedure. Connectors are hands. Once you see those three lanes, every AI decision gets easy.
We audited a real MSP site live using a skill from the community marketplace (Corey Haines' free marketing skills on GitHub). The findings are the same for almost every MSP site:
We generated finished social graphics with the Higgsfield connector by telling Claude "generate an image with nano banana pro, 4:5, using Higgsfield" (naming the connector is what routes the job) while Claude designed a full carousel on the other screen. The trick is the prompt structure:
You're not prompting a picture. You're writing a creative brief. Same thing you'd hand a designer.
Carousel cover slide for LinkedIn and Instagram, for a managed IT services brand. FORMAT: typography-only hook slide, slide 1 of a carousel. TEXT (render exactly): eyebrow line "FOR BUSINESS OWNERS" small and letterspaced at top, main headline "5 SIGNS YOU'VE OUTGROWN YOUR IT GUY" in huge bold condensed white type with the words "IT GUY" in electric blue #2E90FA, footer "YOUR MSP NAME • SWIPE →" bottom center. STYLE: flat editorial graphic design, deep navy #0A1628 background, faint oversized "5" watermark numeral behind the text at 8% opacity, subtle diagonal accent line. COMPOSITION: centered, massive type, high contrast, extremely readable as a small thumbnail, no photo, no clutter.
Design a 6-slide Instagram carousel as a single HTML page showing all six 1080x1350 slides side by side. Topic: "5 signs you've outgrown your IT guy" for a managed IT company. Slide 1 is the hook, slides 2-6 are one sign each: a punchy 4-6 word headline, one supporting sentence, and a slide number. Style: deep navy background #0A1628, electric blue accent #2E90FA, white bold condensed typography, flat editorial design, consistent footer with my company name. No images, typography only.
We built a custom skill live: the Proof Engine. It reads your resolved tickets and produces the three assets that win MSP clients.
Claude is already smart. A skill is how you make it consistent. In testing, the skill passed 100% of our checks. The same task without it: 59%, including a made-up claim the ticket data couldn't support.
Every business owner is anxious about AI and has nobody technical to ask. The Lead Magnet Machine makes you the one who shows up with answers.
One per funnel stage, and they download right from this page. To install: Claude → Settings → Capabilities → Skills → upload the file. Then just describe the task; the skill triggers itself.
Ticket export in → case studies, LinkedIn posts in your voice, timed review requests out. msp-proof-engine.skill
Prospect name + industry in → branded AI Readiness Snapshot and delivery email out. msp-lead-magnet-machine.skill
Call notes in → three-option proposal, delivery email, and objection prep out, same day. msp-discovery-to-proposal.skill
| Goes in | Never goes in |
|---|---|
| Sanitized ticket exports, documentation, contracts, call notes | Credentials and passwords |
| Asset lists, QBR history, your own marketing | PHI / patient records without a compliant setup |
| Anything already shared internally | Anything a client asked you to keep out |
Including this page. Built and tested the night before, not a slide deck in sight:
None of this took a team. It took one person who treats Claude like an employee instead of a search bar.
Sunny and I are putting together hands-on Claude training for this group: your team, your data, your skills built live. Interest decides the format.
